A daily oil painter of landscapes and still-life, I am an impressionist painter of what I call, not-so-still life. Life never sits still; it is a living organism of energy and light spinning in perpetual movement. Energy extends beyond visual boundaries of shape to connect and dance with all that surrounds.

My objective is a portrayal of the movement and sense of spirit. I find joy in simple ordinary things, and am fascinated by the play of light, shadow and reflections of color.

I work in contemplative solitude to hear all that is being revealed by a subject. I will spend the rest of my life learning to listen. I am one insignificant instrument in this world, the privilege of capturing it in paint I credit to the master Creator.
