I shot this photo reference in Galveston, TX several years ago, but have been unable to paint it; somehow I couldn't feel the freedom I was seeing in the bird's flight. Today was a different day, I felt the wind, rode the currents of air and soared basked in the warm light of joyful bliss and abandonment. Today I flew!
